I am Wan-Ching Yang, a Taiwanese design researcher and strategist.

I strive to apply design into different aspects and work with multiple disciplines to achieve sustainability.
I hope you enjoy visiting my website! I wonder if you also discover somethings interesting or meaningful through browsing my design practices and perspective, which is shaped profoundly by the Design for Sustainability program at SCAD.

I usually consider myself as a design strategist, researcher, and service designer in a project, but still keep myself resilient and mobile to respond to the needs of a team depending on my strengths, project goals and attributes.
I contribute almost my whole day to thinking, from reasoning to practicing in various subject matters. I like to discuss philosophical topics and explore unclear or unsolved issues. To understand one thing in a systemic way involves so many facets and elements, especially about sustainability. In this case, complexity has to be embraced and collaboration is essential. My goal is to use design to understand context and co-create with stakeholders and environments to identify problems and opportunities and offer different people a new experience which might be desirable in a long term manner or that would lead the way toward win-win situations.
